Grannie Annie's Icebox Cookies

This is my great-grandmother's recipe. These cookies are so good they just melt in your mouth.

Cream together:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
Add 1 egg.
Add 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour.
Spray wax paper with non-stick spray.
Form dough into a roll, wrapped in the wax paper.
Refrigerate overnight or freeze 1 hour.
Slice. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 for about 10 minutes.

Enjoy the goodness! This recipe makes about two dozen cookies.
