Annie's Seventh Birthday

The precious little bald baby who made me a mama is seven years old now. Annie has a zest for life and an unquenchable curiosity. In no particular order, here are some things she loves: geography, telling stories, one on one time with Mama and Daddy, church, history, sweets, math, hearing stories, art, baby dolls, paper dolls, American Girl dolls, singing, Little House, her siblings, and memorizing poems. Annie has always preferred talking to adults rather than other children, but she's developed her "friends" this year and it is sweet to see those little friendships grow. She is always learning something new and her Daddy and I have to race to keep up with her sometimes! She is still a very determined little girl but she wants to please her parents so we don't have too much difficulty with her strong will these days. (but when she was three . . . ) I am so glad God blessed our family with Annie; I just love being her mama!

Valentine's Day 2018

We had a yummy family breakfast, then a Valentine's party with our homeschool group, followed by a picnic supper at church. It was a fun day with way too much sugar. Annie made a precious Valentine for Huck all on her own. I love the spelling!

Another link from Honey

I just haven't had time to catch my breath and write lately (life is going well, just juggling a few too many things at the moment). So today you get a link to Lisa Leonard writing about her son David. Thanks for sharing it with me, Mom/Honey. Click here to read "Honoring the Pain."
