We love having company! Uncle Buck and Aunt Jane came with Mama Rita and Papa Gene to meet Annie. I think they really enjoyed her. Who wouldn't? ;)

House Update/Moving Update

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I just realized we are moving in one month.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Between now and then, I have a trip planned, a family wedding to attend, dinners to host, furniture to sell, furniture to buy, utilities to cancel at the old place and set up at the new, friends to say goodbye to, and the entire house to pack up and move. Plus a few million other small things and a baby to take care of.

Oh, and we get to close on our house!

Yippee!

Independence Day

We spent 4th of July at Nana and Papaw's house, visiting with lots of family and eating way too much really good food (as always!).

Three Dogs, Three Surgeries

Zeke had surgery to remove a benign cyst in January.

Huck had surgery to remove a mast cell tumor in March.

Nick decided it was his turn. He just had a papilloma removed from his leg yesterday. Thankfully it is not anything to worry about long-term, and he is recovering well.

Dear doggies, we love you very much. But the dog budget is about gone for the year. No more surgeries, please!

Grandma King

Last week Mom and I took Annie to visit with Grandma King. Grandma King was my babysitter when I was a little girl. She taught me to bake and sew. We had so much fun together. Grandma King will be 102 in October. She was so excited to meet Annie!






We also met Mrs. Hope. She lived across the street from us when I was growing up. She was at the hospital the night I was born. Annie really enjoyed laughing with her.


We stayed with Aunt Ne' and Uncle Mike. Annie had a blast at their house and loved all the attention!
