First up, a trip to Uncle Tyler's new house! I took lots of pictures of Annie and almost none of the house, oops!! I love his house, especially the big kitchen with quartz countertops. Annie and I also got to meet his new puppy, Nash, who is--of course--all around adorable. But I still think Charlie (his bulldog) is cuter. ;) While we were there, we started celebrating Mom's birthday a couple of days early. Nana made a yummy cake (the one on the cover of September's Southern Living) and brought along a couple of candles to make it official. She and Papaw also brought a present for Annie. She likes the teething toys, but was much more excited about the Mickey Mouse gift bag. She stared and stared at it, then tried to chew on it. :)
On Mom's actual birthday, we hosted our first dinner party at the new house! Pretty low-key, but we did decorate a little bit and of course there were presents.
oh man, i thought that cake this month looked delicious too... how was it? and i LOVE Annie's tutu skirt :)
