Easter 2019

Easter is my favorite holiday. Jesus's resurrection changes everything and I am so thankful that my Savior swallowed up death in victory. Two years ago at Easter, I was waiting for David's birth. Last year, I was looking ahead to David's first birthday and considering another baby. This year, I held Thomas as he slept through the service. So many emotions wrapped around one holiday...grief and joy all at once. I am grateful for this day.

A Christmas Blessing

This was the benediction at the Nine Lessons and Carols service this weekend. I thought it was beautiful. A blessed Christmas to you!

Now, may the joy of the angels, the eagerness of the shepherds, the perseverance of the Magi, the obedience of Joseph and Mary, and the peace of the Christ child be yours this Christmas. And may the blessing of God Almighty, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, be upon you and remain with you now and always. Amen.

Valentine's Day 2018

We had a yummy family breakfast, then a Valentine's party with our homeschool group, followed by a picnic supper at church. It was a fun day with way too much sugar. Annie made a precious Valentine for Huck all on her own. I love the spelling!
