Thomas: Eight Months

Cutest and sweetest eight month old ever! At eight months Thomas continues to smile and laugh as he goes with the flow (so thankful, because we are in the middle of a crazy month). He's close to getting his knees under him but he's not quite figured it out yet--I figure we can make it through this busy time before he starts crawling. He is still not a fan of food. He may have swallowed a few bites in the past month. He is starting to show an interest in what is on our plates, so I think he's close to actually wanting to eat. Thomas loves to play and thinks toys and books and his siblings are so much fun!

First Day of School Pictures

All is well here--we've just hit an incredibly busy time for our family. I'll get back to more regular postings about a month from now. Here are some back to school pictures from a few weeks ago. Annie and Jacob third grade, Sophie first grade, Nora 4K. We are having a great time learning together!

Thomas: Seven Months

Thomas is SEVEN months old today. His leg rolls and hand dimples are so very sweet! He is still mastering sitting and loves to be on his tummy to play (finally). I love this stage when you can put the baby on the blanket and they stay there--I know it won't last too much longer. Thomas does NOT like solid food. We've tried several times and he is not interested. If you put anything in his mouth, he will forcefully spit it back at you. He loves to nurse and he's growing fine, so I'm sure the interest in table food will come. Thomas's siblings love him so much and he loves them, too. He just lights up when they come around. However, he would occasionally like for no one to be in his face. ;) His 6-9 month rompers are almost too short to snap, but his pajamas are still okay. He is wearing size four diapers. We love this precious boy!
