Magic Kingdom

We had a great family trip to Disney World last month. The children had a fabulous time and the Gent and I enjoyed it more than we thought we would. ;) This was their big Disney trip of childhood and we made it count! Annie rode every single roller coaster, Jacob trained as a Jedi, Sophie rode every coaster except one that she wasn't quite tall enough for, Nora rode one coaster and decided she preferred the carousel, and Thomas napped well in the stroller and didn't fuss once. The girls loved meeting princesses and Jacob shook Darth Vader's hand, we dined at the castle, watched fireworks in the rain, walked about 8 miles a day, and recognized Don Quixote in It's a Small World (mama-teacher patted herself on the back for that one). Thankful we were able to share this family experience together.

Trick or Treat 2019

Whew!

It has been a busy several weeks around here. We took Annie (and tag-along Thomas) on a trip, then our whole family went to Disney World, then we sold our house, moved to a rental, and now we are trying to figure out the new house build. In between, we've done 5,249 loads of laundry, continued to feed our children 3x a day plus snacks, and read a stack of books. Also school lessons, baseball practices, dance classes, and the Gent still has to go to the office and earn that paycheck. ;) What a blessed life we have and how thankful we are for each moment. I will try to get back to a regular posting routine soon.

Thomas: Nine Months

Thomas is nine months old! This sweet boy loves to laugh and be entertained by his siblings. He is so smiley and adorable. He can stand and hold on to furniture, but he isn't pulling up yet. He scoots around in circles and crawling isn't too far off. He weighs 18lbs, 14oz--finally slowing down a little bit on his growth. If he would eat solid food that would help. ;) He is starting to swallow 4-5 bites once a day, so...progress! I offer purees or finger foods twice a day and let him decide what to eat. So far sweet potato and beets are his favorite. I look forward to him eating some more table foods and eventually learning to sleep through the night, since he wakes up hungry every 3-4 hours. He is wearing 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers. We love this precious, cuddly baby!
